Knife photography with an edge to prove.

Product films and photography for Microtech — studio sets, cinematic launch films, and the catalog frames a knife brand's dealers and collectors actually study.

The brief

Launch-grade media for production knives whose buyers zoom in: blade grinds, hardware, action — details that decide a collector's checkout. Files needed to serve the store, the dealers, and the launch channels at once.

What we shot

Studio product sets with macro detail frames, plus cinematic product films — the Feather and MSI cut for launch: slow, deliberate product beats that let machining and action speak at full resolution.

Why it works

Knife buyers are detail literati. Photography accurate enough to answer their questions — edge geometry, finish, lockup — converts where glamour shots get screenshot-corrected in the comments.

// Product films + studio photography, one session family

Knife brands are a photography vertical of their own

Edged products punish generalist product photography: high-gloss blades mirror the studio, coatings shift color under the wrong light, and the buyer knows exactly what a grind line should look like. Our sets are built for it — controlled reflections, honest finishes, and action sequences that show mechanisms actually working. The same session produces marketplace white-box, editorial heroes, and the film — every channel matched.
